Text Messaging Program

Tarheel Building Supply offers a text messaging program for our customers and our employees. If you opt in, we may send you text messages about:

• Your orders — confirmations, status updates, and special-order arrivals;
• Deliveries — scheduling and delivery status updates;
• Your house account — account-related notifications; and
• For employees — store operations messages, such as approval requests and receiving and delivery updates needed to do their jobs.

How You Opt In

Customers opt in by providing their mobile number at our store counter, or when opening a house account, and agreeing to receive text messages from us. Employees opt in by providing their mobile number to a store administrator, who enables text notifications on their profile in our point-of-sale system. By opting in, you agree to these terms.

Message Frequency and Rates

• Message frequency varies depending on your orders, deliveries, and activity with us.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Tarheel Building Supply does not charge for the messages themselves.
• Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing anything from us.

How to Opt Out or Get Help

• Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You will receive one confirmation message, and then no further texts unless you opt in again.
• Reply HELP for help, or call us at (336) 818-0497 during store hours (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide a mobile number that belongs to you and to let us know if it changes or is reassigned. Text messages are sent to the number you gave us; if you change numbers without telling us, messages may go to the new holder of your old number until you update us.

Delivery and Carrier Terms

Text delivery is subject to your mobile carrier's network and coverage. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is not guaranteed, and time-sensitive matters should always be confirmed by calling the store at (336) 818-0497.

Privacy

We do not sell or share your mobile number, or your consent to receive texts, with third parties for their marketing purposes. For details on what we collect and how we use it, see our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

If we change these terms, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to receive messages after a change means you accept the updated terms; you may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
